IDEAL summer school is designed to encourage students to develop interprofessional communication and teamwork knowledge and skills, while enhancing the learning experience and fostering collaboration across disciplines.

IDEAL Summer School Simulation Session

Each year, it welcomes 24 international students in their 3rd to 5th year of medical and healthcare study for a week dedicated to provide an adequate frame to foster communication training at the patient, bedside, public health and supranational level to each participant.

 

What are the pre-requisites to participate? 

 

IDEAL summer school is open to any medical and healthcare student, eager to learn more about interprofessional communication and teamwork and how they are essential to tackle a delicate situation (pandemics, crises, emergencies…).

 

Pre-requisites to participate are:

 

  • Demonstrating strong motivation for the topics of the summer school
  • Presenting a good academic file
  • Having at least a B2 English level
  • Completing/having completed an undergraduate or postgraduate infectious diseases and/or microbiology curriculum
