Members of the IDEAL consortium met in person and online on October, 20th to talk and debrief about the first year of existence of the project. It was the moment to evaluate the results of the first year of IDEALiTER (evaluation of the training session for young professionals, for students and of the first summer school) and to define the main lines for the year to come. A year that will be marked by the sending of the interim report to the national French Erasmus + agency.

This meeting was also the occasion for the new mentored institutions (European University of Cyprus, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Johannes Kepler – Unversität Linz and Aarhus University) to introduce themselves to the whole IDEAL consortium.

The members of the external committee – Helen Cameron from Aston University, Federica Wolf form UniCamilllus Rome, Trudie Roberts from University of Leeds and Olle Ten Cate from Utrecht Medical Center – shared their reflections about the background of the first year and their ideas to improve and develop the project for the better within the next few years.

A lot of work is still to be done but the IDEAL consortium members are all very motivated to continue to promote innovative teaching methods across Europe and abroad.
